Parents' Right to Know
Parents, you have the right to know…
- You may request information regarding the professional qualifications of your child’s classroom teacher. Please contact the main office of your child’s school to obtain this information.
- State assessments are administered in the spring to students in grades 3-8, 10, and 11. Parent reports are issued as soon as we receive students’ scores. You may request additional copies of your child’s state assessment scores by contacting the main office of your child’s school. If you would like additional information about state assessments, please contact the district testing coordinator, Kari Kephart.
- At any time, you may access Kansas school, district, and state report cards at http://ksreportcard.ksde.org/. These report cards provide school, district, and state level data pertaining to assessment results, demographics, teacher qualifications, performance indicators, and more.
