Monica Countryman
School Counselor/Academic Advisor

My name is Monica Countryman and I have been in the education profession since December of 1997. In that time, I have taught all science from 7th grade to 12th grade, been an Academic Advisor, CTE coordinator, ACT test coordinator, NWKTC HS coordinator, CCC HS coordinator, Emporia State University Instructor through TRIO, and school counselor. I graduated from Highland Community College with an Associates of Arts Degree, Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science Education in Physics and Chemistry and Emporia State University with a Masters in Counseling with an emphasis in Higher Education and Student Services. I am married to Toby Countryman and we have three children Kaitlyn, Brooklyn, and Kade, all of which attend Quinter Schools. I grew up on a dairy farm in Northeast Kansas where I attended B&B High School. In my spare time, I love to workout, spending time with friends, getting my nails done, and enjoy shopping for a good deal. I am an ovarian cancer survivor!! I love Mother Teresa!

My favorite quotes are "When you can be anything in the world BE KIND"

"The biggest disease today is not leprosy or tuberculosis, but rather the feeling of being unwanted"

"Your true character is most accurately measured by how you treat those who can do NOTHING for you"
