2019-2020 School Immunization Changes
Dear Parents,
I am wishing to update you on recent Kansas state immunization REQUIREMENT changes for next school year.
KINDERGARTEN AND 1ST GRADE

Hepatitis A |
2 doses |
7TH GRADE
|
Meningococcal (serogroup A,C,W,Y) |
1 dose |
|
Tdap (still required) |
1 dose |
11TH GRADE
|
Meningococcal (serogroup A,C,W,Y) |
2 doses / 1 dose if not previously vaccinated |
These will be posted on the school website.
I will be letting you know early next week which of these immunizations your child is needing, according to my records.
Gove County Health Department will be holding our annual Spring school immunization clinic on Tuesday, April 9. Your child may receive these vaccines at school if you sign the permission papers which will be made available to you. (Kindergarten students will need to have an adult family member accompany them, please.)
All other requirements remain unchanged. These are posted on the school website.
