Monica Countryman
School Counselor
[]

Hello!

My name is Monica Countryman and I am currently in my 20th year in education.  I have been teaching all sciences for the last 19 years and started my first year as the school counselor this academic year. I graduated from Highland Community College with an Associates of Arts Degree, Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science Education in Physics and Chemistry. Emporia State University with a Master in Counselor with an emphasis in Higher Education. I am married to Toby Countryman for 17 years and we have three children Kaitlyn, Brooklyn, and Kade all of which attend Quinter Schools.  I grew up on a dairy farm in Northeast Kansas where I attended B&B High School.  In my spare time, I love to workout, spending time with friends, getting my nails done, and enjoy shopping for a good deal. I am an ovarian cancer survivor of 5 years!! I love Mother Teresa!

My favorite quotes are "When you can be anything in the world BE KIND"

"The biggest disease today is not leprosy or tuberculosis, but rather the feeling of being unwanted"

"Your true character is most accurately measured by how you treat those who can do NOTHING for you"
