QJH Holds Awards Night and Eighth Grade Graduation
Quinter Junior High School honored seventh and eighth grade students at the annual Awards Night and Eighth Grade Graduation on Monday, May 15. Teachers recognized students for classroom awards. Coaches recognized athletes for hard work and dedication throughout the sports seasons. Lastly, eighth grade students received diplomas and were promoted.
Mr. Countryman handed out the KSHSAA Citizenship Awards to one boy and one girl from the graduating class. The award is voted on by the faculty and looks to honor those students showing character, citizenship, and leadership. This year's winners were Collin Thielen and Kayler Getz.
