QHS Graduates 17

Quinter High School celebrated 17 seniors with their families and community members as they walked across the stage and graduated.  During the ceremony, Kylie Crist and Luke Kaiser were awarded the KSHSAA Citizenship Award. Rebekah Kitch earned the Dale Dennis Excellence in Education Award. Kitch was also named the class valedictorian while Abria Fisher earned the distinction as the salutatorian.  Together Kitch and Fisher gave a speech, likening their class to a great novel.

It was an honor to receive such a prestigious award. It was really nice to see that all my hard work over the past four years paid off that moment. It made all the tests and homework worth it,” commented Kitch.

Mrs. Kelli Getz gave the keynote address, remind students to be as the pencil.
