Bulldogs Bring Home Three State Medals

Three Quinter High School athletes medaled at the State Track Meet held in Wichita on May 25 and May 26. Overall, the Quinter team of three placed 19th with 11 points.
Evie Gruenbacher placed second in triple jump with a jump of 34’4”. Gruenbacher also competed in long jump where she jumped 15’6”.Kylie Crist threw first in the javelin. She set her season’s best mark at 18’9”. The throw earned her a seventh place medal. Peyton Havlas competed in the high jump, and also set her personal best at the meet. After clearing 5’0”, Havlas earned the eighth place medal.
“I was very excited that everyone on our team medaled at the State meet. It was a great feeling to know that I jumped my best at State and came away with second place,” commented Gruenbacher.
